Freshwater Tank Cleaning Appointment

By booking the appointment, you are securing the time and date of the cleaning and agreeing that each hour worked will be billed as follows, with an invoice sent post-service.

5-55 Gallon Tanks $25/hr

56-75 Gallon Tanks $40/hr

76-99 Gallon Tanks $55/hr

401-1,000 Gallon Tanks $200/hr

This appointment is best scheduled for the initial clean or for tanks that have not been maintained for a month or more and entails: testing the water, scrubbing algae off rocks, and simple (smooth) decor. Trimming the plants, raking and vacuuming the substrate, and doing a water change. I perform water changes by lowering the water level, then filling the tank with dechlorinated water, which keeps the fish in their environment and reduces unnecessary stress. Once everything is said and done, I test the water once more to ensure quality.

Please note that particles from the substrate that get stirred up can remain suspended in the water for several hours to about a day after the cleaning.
